TOGETHER. A word that when heard by any Durant Lady Lion softball player instantly brings back memories of the softball field. As Coach Pickens always told us, numerous times, we do things TOGETHER, we fight TOGETHER, lose TOGETHER, win TOGETHER. We are better TOGETHER.

Lions for lincoln

Cassidy & Christy, both former high school softball players wanted to find a way to help the Baker family. Again, a short texting conversation led to an overnight launch of the Lions for Lincoln T-Shirt Campaign.

It was time for the community to join TOGETHER for Lincoln, grandson of Kent & Mary Pickens and son to Missy & Hayden Baker, to help the Baker family get this precious baby boy to Duke for his stem cell treatment. TOGETHER they were able to raise $2100 from the sell of the shirts, all proceeds went directly to the Baker family to help cover the expenses for his treatments at Duke.
